Companion singles - releasing 1st August and 5th September 2025.
4th July 2025
We are delighted to announce the forthcoming release of, not one but
two (companion - if you like) singles 'In Outer Space No One Can Hear
You Morris' and 'To Boldly Go and Morris on Mars'.
The singles have been largely inspired by the interest in folk arts
and traditions and most especially the vibrancy of the resurgent folk
dance scene and their appearances in support of many causes and protests
that is doing so much to bring people and communities together in these
difficult times. The starting point for all these new songs were folk
dance rhythms, and it gave us the opportunity (literally as well as
figuratively) to go back to where we started and pick up some sticks and
foliage and create some percussion tracks.
Both singles will have three tracks, and will be available in
Hand-Numbered CD Editions with two art cards, an A4 poster and a full
colour CDr. The first single 'In Outer Space No One Can Hear You
Morris' will be available to pre-order on 4th July, with orders shipping
out from the 11th July and the official release date of 1st August 2025.
The second single 'To Boldly Go and Morris on Mars' will be available to
pre-order on 1st August, with orders shipping out from the 8th August
and the official release date of 5th September 2025. '. These Editions and the Digital Download will also be available from our
Bandcamp.
The singles will also be available from Spotify et al on their official release
dates.
