8th March 2017

As regular followers will already know, The Rowan Amber Mill like to take their time with recording. As we let slip last week, they are in the midst of working on an album with the multi-talented Angeline Morrison. Well, today we can reveal today the progress of the album, and we are happy to report that all of the vocals have been now recorded, safely gathered in and placed into their respective songs. This is a watershed moment for the project which has been literally years in the making.

The beautiful vocals and their accompanying divine harmonies have been painstakingly created, developed and crafted over the course of the last couple of years by Angeline. A number of the initial vocals were recorded towards the end of 2016. Since the new year, the amazing Nick Duffy has been capturing and recording Angeline's vocals. The Rowan Amber Mill and Angeline would both like to say a massive thank you to Nick Duffy for so very generously giving his time, hard work and expertise, all of which has very much contributed in helping the project progress to this stage.

The songs will now receiving some final tidying, and then the album will be mixed. This may not be the quickest process as the album is currently 18 tracks long and runs close to 75 minutes of music. It is the intention that, all being well, the album will be released some time in the latter half of 2017. We will of course let you know more as the things progress.

In keeping with their reputation for taking time to deliver new albums, the Rowan Amber Mill are currently working on two other brand new albums. Other than that the Rowan Amber Mill are likely to have two new tracks featuring on compilations due to be released later in 2017. More news on them as we have it.
