Stephen Stannard set to release debut single and High and Dry
mini-album
2nd December 2022
Stephen Stannard is starting out plotting a new course, and beginning to release music under his own name.
After many years releasing solo albums under the names The Rowan Amber Mill and Making Tea for Robots, and being half
of the weird folk duo Rowan : Morrison, and a third of the psych folksters Meadowsilver, Stephen is now working on some new
songs that will be released under his own name.
Stephen's debut single Lost and Alone (and Driving) is released today. You can stream and / or download it for free over on
Stephen's Bandcamp
Stephen has also announced a mini-album High and Dry. This will be available, again, from
Stephen's Bandcamp.
This will be a (very) limited edition release. It will feature a poster, art cards, two metal badges, colour CDr and four stickers,
all housed in a hand numbered arigato pack. The official release date is 16th December, with pre-ordering opening
at 9pm on 12th December, and shipping beginning on 13th December (by 1st
class post).
Stephen will be working on his debut solo album in early 2023, and hopes to have the album ready for release in April / May. He has also been
writing a new Rowan Amber Mill album for release at the end of October 2023. There is also plans afoot to release expanded versions of some early Rowan
Amber Mill albums sometime during 2023.
